The Talbert and Leota Abrams Planetarium, located on the beautiful Michigan State University campus, serves as an astronomy and space science education resource center for central Michigan. The planetarium is an outreach unit of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, and as such, we support astronomy teaching on campus as well as offer a variety of planetarium shows to the public--preschool through senior citizens.

Cap City Athletic 1847 is a non-profit youth soccer club with programming for players ages 3-18. We aim to utilize youth sports as a vehicle for teaching life skills, imparting strong values, and creating excellence beyond the game so that our young athletes leave our program with the tools to make a positive and lasting contribution in our ever-changing world.

Established in 1953, the Lansing Model Railroad Club maintains an HO scale model railroad layout in the historic Millett Depot. On the property are the Michigan Avenue (MA) Tower and various full-size railroad signals. Membership is always open to individuals interested in this fun hobby.
